We Dare to Ask
February 17, 2026
A Lenten Resource from the Bishops of England & Wales

Our 2026 Lenten resource seeks to encourage an appreciation of what is given in Christian Baptism.
God desires what is best for each of us while respecting our freedom to choose. To express our acceptance of the wonderful gift that God offers us, with open hearts and a willingness to change for the better, all we need to do is ask.
More Information at cbcew.org.uk/we-dare-to-ask.

This Lent, live out the Gospel call to love your neighbour. By fasting and giving what you save, you join in Christ’s compassion and help another family put food on the table. Your donation can help families around the world grow food in difficult conditions – such as on flood-resistant floating gardens or using solar-powered water pumps in times of drought. Ways to donate to CAFOD Family Fast Day Use the envelopes at the back of church for our parish collection. Donate online at cafod.org.uk/envelope . Donate by phone: Call 0303 303 3030 and make a card payment over the phone. Donate by post: CAFOD, Romero House, 55 Westminster Bridge Road, London, SE1 7JB .
