Ordination to the Permanent Diaconate

June 29, 2026

Saturday 11th July

We offer our prayers for Alan de Ste Croix who has completed his formation for the Permanent Diaconate and who is due to be ordained deacon on 11th July at midday in St Dyfrig’s, Treforest.

This is a significant occasion for the Archdiocese, as Alan will be the first permanent deacon to be ordained under Archbishop Mark O’Toole, and the first since Deacon Christian Mahoney in 2020.

Please keep Alan and his family in your prayers, asking God’s blessing upon him as he prepares for ministry in the Church. May the Holy Spirit guide and strengthen him in his vocation.
