This July, the Centre for Applied Carmelite Spirituality at the Carmelite Priory, Oxford is hosting a series of special events to mark two significant anniversaries of Saint John of the Cross:
- 300 years since his canonisation
- 100 years since his proclamation as a Doctor of the Church
Taste and See: The Wisdom Sayings of Saint John of the Cross
12–16 July | Carmelite Priory, Oxford & online
A week of deep spiritual formation led by Dr Susan Muto and the Carmelite friars of Oxford.
Through teaching, prayer, silence, and community life, participants are invited to encounter the richness of Carmelite spirituality in a peaceful and reflective setting.
This gatherings is open to all and available both in person in Oxford and online, offering a unique opportunity to explore the depth and beauty of Carmelite spirituality.
