A basket for Lenten Alms will be placed at the foot of the altar: these donations will be split between HCPT (Hosanna House and Children’s Pilgrimage Trust) (hcpt.org.uk) and Aid to the Church in Need UK (acnuk.org)

May is traditionally a Marian month , a special time to grow in faith through prayer with Mary.
We have received the following statement from Archbishop Mark , shared after the recent meeting of the Catholic Bishops of England and Wales in Rome. In solidarity with the Holy Father, the Bishops invite all people of goodwill to renew their commitment to peace and justice, and they ask Catholics in particular to redouble their prayers for those affected by conflict across the world. Rooted in the hope of Easter, this message reminds us of our shared Christian responsibility to be peacemakers and bridge‑builders. We are encouraged to read the statement prayerfully and to join with the Bishops and the wider Church in praying for an enduring peace founded on justice, dialogue and fraternity.
