 National Shrine of Our Lady of the Taper - Thursday 6th August

As part of the National Eisteddfod celebrations, everyone is warmly invited to attend the Eisteddfod Mass at the Welsh National Shrine of Our Lady of the Taper, Cardigan, on Thursday 6 August 2026 at 6.00pm.


This year's Mass falls on the Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord and will be celebrated by Fr Matt Roche-Saunders, who will also preach.


The Eisteddfod Mass provides a special opportunity to gather in prayer during Wales' national cultural festival, celebrating our faith, language, heritage and community. A warm welcome is extended to everyone, whatever their denomination or belief.


Following the Mass, refreshments will be served and all are warmly invited to stay and enjoy fellowship together.
