A Pastoral Letter from Archbishop Mark

Archbishop Mark has written a pastoral letter to the Archdiocese of Cardiff-menevia, inviting all unmarried men who feel God may be calling them to the priesthood to take a first step in discernment.

He invites every unmarried man who is open to this call to join him for Evening Prayer at St David's Cathedral, Cardiff, on Sunday 31st May at 3:30pm, followed by an opportunity to meet with the Archbishop and others exploring the same vocation.

We warmly congratulate the twenty children from our parish who recently received their First Holy Communion. It was a joyful and grace-filled occasion for them, their families, and our whole community. Since Christmas, a total of sixty children have now taken this important step in their journey of faith, and we give thanks for each one of them. Looking ahead, the next preparation programme will begin shortly after Christmas, early in the new year. It will be open to children who will be in Years 3 to 6 in the academic year 2026/27. Further details and application forms will be made available after the Summer holidays. In the meantime, we are very happy to receive early expressions of interest from families who wish their children to take part.
