    St Philip Evans

    Planning a party? Need a venue? Look no further than right here at St Philip Evans Community Centre. This gorgeous space comes with a reasonable price tag. For our minimum party hire of 3 hours we charge £80 and any additional hours required cost £20 per hour. A fully stocked bar is also available with a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at reasonable prices. (To hire the bar costs £10 for 3 hours and £10 for every additional hour required.)

    We’re family friendly, wheelchair friendly, deaf and hard of hearing friendly and just all round friendly, so email the manager at hall@sphilipevans.co.uk (or via the contact form below) to arrange a time for you to come and see the hall or for any booking enquiries. You can also leave a message for the Hall Manager by phoning (029) 2073 1061 and choosing extension 3; please note that the office is not staffed full-time so please allow 48 hours for a reply to any answerphone message or email. The Hall also has its own Facebook page.

    Don’t delay, and book your function today as we get booked up quite far in advance!

    • What happens in St Philip Evans Community Hall?

      St Philip Evans Community Centre is currently home to Popstars Dance Studio classes on Mondays, Taekwondo classes on Thursdays and, coming soon, puppy socialisation and dog behavioural classes, Karate and adult Latin and ballroom dancing. The Community Centre has played host to birthday parties of all ages, fundraisers, baptism parties, community gatherings, engagement parties and wedding receptions as well as Parish events like our Summer Fete and Christmas Market!

    • Need a smaller room?

      We even have a conference centre that holds up to 30 people and has a fully functional kitchen if our large hall is too big for what you had in mind. It hosts the Llanedeyrn Foodbank and is used regularly by the Deaf community and the Union of Catholic Mothers, so if you’re thinking of having an important meeting, hosting a beauty evening or teaching a class then this is the venue for you. This venue, at £20 per hour, has a large display screen suitable for showing DVDs or projecting content from a laptop; both halls are fully covered by wi-fi connectivity.
