The Sacrament of Confirmation
The sacrament of Confirmation completes the gifts Christ begins to offer us through baptism. For "by the sacrament of Confirmation, [the baptised] are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed."
Confirmation
At present the Parish of St Philip Evans has not opened registration for the confirmation, but we would encourage any baptised Catholic young person (in Year 8 or above), or adult, who wishes to be confirmed to register with the parish database.
